Although just a small company we want to contribute towards creating a sustainable world. Where possible we choose products based on their ethical and green credentials. Please find examples of what we do below.
Vegware fully biodegradable cups
We only use of Vegware biodegradable cups.
Our new hot cups are compostable and are lined with plant based PLA. Our hot cup lids are made from plant-based CPLA, which is 67% lower in carbon than plastic. Once our current stock of cold cups have been used up, we plan to replace them with compostable cups as well.
Xpresso supports Project Waterfall
Project Waterfall brings clean drinking water, sanitation and education to coffee growing communities. Access to clean water is the first step in breaking the poverty cycle. Clean water not only improves the health and well-being of communities affected by the global water crisis; it also means greater access to education, income and ultimately a better life.

Over the Summer I gave away some vegetables from my allotment and some of you chose to make a donation to charity. In total I had donations of £15. Over the rest of the year I have had people telling me to keep the change and I have been adding these to the pot. This came to a grand total of £25. I have donated £50 on behalf of Xpresso by matching the donations I have received.
Why we use Lavazza Tierra coffee beans.
Tierra is a sustainable development project undertaken by Lavazza in co-operation with the Rainforest Alliance, to combine product quality with improved living conditions for small coffee growers in Latin America and adopting environmentally friendly technologies. It tastes great too!!
We care about our tea's as well!
