Lavazza's new blend Tierra is made using the green coffees from three coffee-growing communities in Honduras, Columbia and Peru.

Tierra coffee is 100% washed Arabica coffee, medium roasted to produce floral aroma and marked sweetness. The espresso coffee from this blend of Honduras, Peruvian and Colombian coffees is highly aromatic, with lightly fruity acidity making it delicate and sweet.

Lavazza Tierra is a sustainable development project aimed at combining product quality with improved living conditions for three small-scale coffee growing communities. This has been achieved by providing them with modern coffee-growing equipment and the right instruments to cultivate and market coffee by means of environmentally friendly techniques.

Now Tierra is 100% sustainable: the Lavazza project has been rewarded with this important recognition by the Rainforest Alliance, the international NGO with which Lavazza collaborates.
